About Gonçalo

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
My name is Gonçalo and I’m from Porto, Portugal. I’m 10 1/2 years old and I’ll be starting my 5th grade at school soon. I like playing with Super Mario and Kirby PVC figures, playing console games (NDS, Wii and PC emulators), playing table games (Stratego, Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne), reading books (Cherub, Roald Dahl, Little Nicholas, Asterix, Lucy and Stephen Hawking and science books).

What do you think being 100 years old would be like?
It would be different from person to person – there are many kinds of people, and many kinds of 100 year old people…

What do you think you might take pictures of?
Mainly things I do during the week such as
Stuff I play with
Friends of mine
My mother’s food
My father’s work
My parents sleeping
The books I’m reading

If you could take a photograph of anything, what would that be?
I would love to take the kind of pictures I’ve seen from Elliot Erwitt:
- Legs of man + legs of dog
- Dog face
