About Lavere

Tell us a little bit about Lavere (from daughter, Ellen):
My father was in the Pacific theatre during WWII, and he photographed much of what went on… horrific and heroic. He has all of these photos (developed in the jungles, using his helmet as a sink) in a box, put away. I saw a few when I was younger, but he likes to try and forget…. so they stay put away.
