About Ejiro

Tell us a little about yourself
I live in South East England an hour outside of London. I’m originally from the United States but live here for my school/work-I am a doctoral research student within the anthropology department but my research incluldes business, culture, and development. I’ve lived in Japan, China and Nigeria; speak English, Japanese and Chinese. My travels have taken me to Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. I think life is about exploring, learning, sharing, helping and finding a bit of enjoyment even during the hardest of times.

What one thing are you most proud of in your years so far?
Finishing fieldwork in Nigeria.

What one thing do you hope to have achieved by the age of 100?
Continue to inspire people.

What one thing have you seen in your lifetime which has changed the world the most significantly?
Broader Study Abroad experiences for teens/young people

What piece of advice would you give to your 10 year old self?
Your parents actually do know what they’re talking about.
