Tell us a little about yourself:
My name is Kerrie, I live in the midlands of Ireland with my partner Brian beside a nature reserve and a peat bog. It’s a quiet life here, a car is required to go to the shops! Where I live is not far from where I grew up, close to my mother, father, sister and grandparents. I lived in Dublin for 2 years and really enjoyed that. I don’t have a job at the moment, I worked in market research for a while but it was horrible! I’d love to make a living from baking cakes. I love music and go to gigs when I can. I like to read, make jigsaws and I’m a bit addicted to entering competitions – Rock and Roll stuff like that!! I enjoy make up as a hobby as you’ll see from my profile picture. Oh and my sister is a talented photographer so this will be a reversal of roles!
What one thing am I proud of so far?
Just being me and not going along with what other people do or think. Getting through tough times and being better for it. And getting my College degree.
What one thing do you hope to have achieved by the age of 100?
Happiness and contentment.
What one thing have you seen in your lifetime which has changed the world the most significantly?
The internet and how it has brought people together, broken down barriers and given wonderful opportunities like this project.
What one piece of advice would you give your 10 year old self
Everything will work out in the end. Do not worry.
